Deana Friedt grew up in Adams County, Indiana, and graduated from Indiana University – Fort Wayne in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, with a major in Accounting and a minor in Communication.
Professional Background
Deana brings over three decades of financial and operational expertise to our team. She began her career in the financial services industry in 1991, spending 27 years as a results-oriented business professional for a Fortune 250 Financial Services Provider. During her tenure, she led operational teams in Contracting and Commissions, and worked extensively in Annuities, Life Insurance, and Defined Contributions Operations. Most recently, she lead financial projects and served as controller for private companies in Northeast Indiana before joining Strategence Capital in 2025.
Among her notable professional achievements, Deana led a multi-year program of projects that successfully reduced 14 administrative systems down to 4, improving effectiveness and efficiency while reducing ongoing costs. She was awarded Outstanding Operations Support Professional at a Financial Sales Conference. Deana holds the ASPA PA-1 designation and has passed the Series 6 Exam.
Community Involvement
Deana is actively engaged in the community, serving as:
- Staff Administration/Leadership Council member at Grace First Community Church in Decatur, Indiana.

Personal
Deana attended Adams Central High School, and married her high school sweetheart, Mick, who works as National Warranty Manager for Rev RV in Decatur. They have two sons, Carter and Caden. Carter is a Civil Engineer at Engineering Resources, Inc. in Bluffton, is married to Emily, and has a daughter Mallory. Caden is working on obtaining his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Manchester University.
Outside of professional pursuits, Deana enjoys singing with her church Praise Team, reading, spending time with family and friends, working outside, and watching or attending sporting events.
